The Classics Fashion Items That I Want In My Closet

Image
Hello Fashion Lovers, I'm so happy to be here with you all again and I hope that you all are doing well and staying safe out there. In the crazy time that we are living in, I hope that my blog posts can give you a happy distraction to you and we all get through this together. When it comes to fashion, The classics will always be in style. I am beyond tired of seeing fast fashion and everything that it brings. Everyone is wearing the same trend looking like clones and lack their own sense of individuality. I understand that Fashion is such a magical world filled with fantasy, imagination,  and wonderment, but I love seeing people wearing the classic fashion that we all know and love in blog posts, and looking in books and magazines. Call me an old soul but I simply love classic fashion and that's never going to change. Christian Louboutin is such a fashion icon and every fashion girl has a pair or several pairs of his shoes in their closets. The Pigalle is my type of sh

Happy Sunday fashion lovers. I can't believe that we are starting a new week again which is great for y'all because there are new blog posts for you to read. I hope that you are having a great weekend and staying as safe as possible. Salvatore Ferragamo was a designer that I just wasn't interested in at all, I thought that I was a little too stuffy and old for me. But one day, I was reading a fashion magazine and I saw these beautifully crafted shoes and I noticed that it was from Salvatore Ferragamo. The attention to detail in every piece in his collections made me want to get to know more about the man and his love for shoes (A man after my own heart.) Born on June 5, 1898, in Bonito Italy to a poor family as eleventh of fourteen children, he made his first pair of shoes, a pair of high heels he realized that he had found his calling. After he studied shoemaking in Naples for a year, Ferragamo opened up a small store based in his parent's home. In 1914, soon

'60's Hair And Beauty Was Everything

Hello again beauty lovers. I hope that you are having a great day despite what's going on right now. I'm trying to keep busy myself and stay occupied with fashion and beauty blogging and posting on my Instagram. If there's one thing that I absolutely about the '60s besides the fashion it's the beauty trends. Everything about the '60s beauty was fresh sweet, timeless, feminine and little playful at the same time. My mother was born in the '60s and I watched a lot of '50s and '60s movies and television shows and I loved seeing what would they wear and what would their hair and makeup look like for that episode. It seems now that the '60s are coming in strong in 2020, I've seen it in magazines, celebrities, articles, and looking in fashion books. The '60s have influenced me so much and I was not even born yet but looking at the clothing and the beauty, I wish that I could be born in the '60s. The Bouffant is such an iconic hairs

I'm Red-y For Fashion

Image
Hello fashion lovers on a Wednesday night, I hope that you all are doing well and trying to get through another day with all that is going on right now. I want my blog posts to be a happy distraction in your day.  The color Red is such a bold and powerful color all at the same time. When I wear the color red, it makes feel so sassy and sexy at the same time. I was reading some facts about the color red and I was completely amazed about what I found out. Did you guys know the color red dated 15,000 years ago when Archeological remains that had been unearthed from China? A color representing luck, passion, happiness, and even danger, red has had, is having, and will have the utmost influence, especially in the fashion world. Another thing that I love about the color red is that this color complements almost all skin tones. The girl in the Red dress emoji, but in real life. I saw this dress on the Pretty Little Thing website and the gorgeous red color is perfect all sizes are ava

My Fashion Obsession: Tweed

Good Afternoon fashion lovers, I hope that you all are doing well and staying safe out there. During this crazy time in the world that we live in, I hope that any of my blog posts will bring a distraction to what's going on. In fashion, there are some things that will stand the test of time, The Little Black Dress, The Trench Coat, The Classic Flat, and many more. But for me, the one thing in Fashion that will stand the test of time is Tweed. Tweed is such an icon in the fashion world thanks to Coco Chanel and recently it has been everywhere at the moment. I think we all want a classic Chanel jacket or suit in out closets because of the total amount of class that it will add to anything that may in our closets. If some of you don't know what on earth am I talking about, here's a little info about Tweed that you need to know. Tweed is a rough, woolen fabric, of a soft, open, flexible texture, resembling cheviot or homespun, but more closely woven. It is usually wove

Hello everyone, I hope that you are doing well and staying safe out there. In the world that we live in right now, I hope that my blog posts and fashion posts on my Instagram brin you a delightful distraction from what going on, believe me, I'm right there with you. But talking about fashion keeps me calm and distracted from Mrs. Conronavirus herself. If you love shoes then we can be best friends, I think that every woman loves shoes. I don't know about you but shoes were never on my radar, I would consider myself more of a handbag girl then a shoe girl. But that slowly started to change. When people look at your outfit, they automatically look at your shoes I feel that your shoes are the finishing part to anyone's outfit and I think that we someone tells you that they love your shoes, it makes you walk with a little confidence. I recently came across a new shoe designer named Mia Becar when I was reading my Elle Magazine from March 2020. I saw a pair of flats call

Hermes Does Lipstick, Wow.

I hope that you are having a great Thursday and wearing your favorite bright lipstick, it's the first day of Spring after all. I'm so happy that I can be here with you all again and talk about some of my favorite things in the beauty world that I'm obsessed with and somethings that I'll pass on.  When all of us think about the brand Hermes, what often comes to your mind. Their iconic orange bags, their beautiful handbags, and their stunning scarves. I know for me Hermes has some great fashion and I still would love to have a Birkin bag and then I'm hit with the reality that a Birkin bag is more than I could ever afford. But the last thing that you would think about the Hermes brand is a beauty brand, would you? I was reading the March issue of Elle Magazine and I notice that Hermes had released their first lipstick, which includes 10 mattes, 10 satins and a three-piece limited edition collection. I feel that these lipsticks are geared for everyone that lov

My Closet Must Have: The Celine Mini Luggage Handbag

Well hello again my fellow fashion lovers, I hope that you are doing well on this Tuesday. Talking to y'all about fashion is one of my favorite thing to do and I hope that my blog brings you joy in your darkest moments in your life. I know, I know, I know, this bag has kinda run in its course but it is still popular. I remember seeing Miley Cyrus carry the Celine Mini Luggage Bag in a neon green color and I was obsessed with this bag ever since. I often thought about how many ways I could style this bag and have it in my collection but at the time, I was a broke, up and coming fashion blogger and I just could not afford it. But all of a sudden when I saw a fashion blogger carry this bag, my love for this bag has come back and now I'm saving all of my money ($3,100 to be exact) so that I can buy it for myself. Buying a designer bag is not to brag. For me, buying a designer bag is showing that all of the hard work that you have done pays off. The first thing that I love

My Spring Closet Must Have: Marc Fisher Adalyn Espadrille Wedge Sandal

Happy Sunday to all of my fellow Fashion lovers. I hope that you all had an amazing week and wore some great outfits along the way. The highlight of my week is coming on here and telling you the trends that I love and some trends that I've hated. I think that I can speak for everyone that I am ready for some warmer weather, I'm beyond sick and tired of wearing layers and layers of clothes just to stay warm. The one thing that I love about spring is wearing cute sandals and wedges. Every woman should have a pair or several pairs of wedges in their closet for the Spring and the Summer. Wedges were the first pair of shoes that I got when I was in middle school because I wanted to learn how walk-in heels (I'm still not the greatest in walking in heels) And not only that, they are extremely comfortable to wear, which is key for me in the Spring and the Summer. Marc Fisher was born and raised in an American footwear family and has had a passion for beautiful shoes for as l

Thursday is for beauty blog posts. Hello again beauty lovers, I hope that you all are doing well on this gorgeous day. It's such a blessing to be here with you and talk about the beauty products that I'm loving and some of the things in the beauty world that I'm not feeling at all. Who else is excited that Spring is almost here (Insert Praise Hands Here) I'm beyond over the Winter and all that it brings. Even though Fall is my absolute favorite season ever, Spring is a close second, I love the warmer weather, I love all new fashion trends, I love all of the flowers blooming, especially the Azaleas but most of all, I love all of the Spring Beauty Trends that we read about in the magazines and blogs that we read on a daily basis. I love seeing what's going to be on-trend for beauty in the Spring because I believe that the beauty editors for magazines look at what's hot for the runways and it somehow it makes into the beauty trends for Spring. I've bee

Happy Tuesday fashion lovers, I hope that you all are having a great day and wearing a fabulous outfit and spreading kindness in the world. I could not wait to get back and talk to you guys about the latest designers and trends that I'm loving right now. What I love about being a fashion blogger is that I get to be influenced by other bloggers and hear what designers and boutiques that they are loving. I feel that all of us as fashion bloggers can be influenced by each other and their blogs. Just being a fashion blogger gives me the freedom to experiment with my own style by looking at some of my favorite fashion bloggers and looking through some of my favorite magazines and articles. I was watching one of my favorite fashion bloggers, Monroe Steele is also known as Fashion Steele NYC and I saw that she had written down on her calendar that she was going to the Cong Tri Fall/Winter 2019 show and I was intrigued to know more about this designer that she was going to. So as
