Hello to all of my favorite fashionable people. I hope that all of you are having a great Sunday and are staying as safe as possible.  I don't believe in the ridiculous beauty norms that society tells us to live by I believe that EVERYONE is beautiful, whether you are skinny or plus size, my advice to you is to own it and embrace it. I'm a curvy girl and I make no apologies for that,  I came a long way for being 320 lbs (My highest weight ever.) I always LOVED fashion but at the time fashion didn't love me back. Growing up, I long for a website that offered fashionable clothing for prices under $100.00. One day, I was on the internet and I was looking for some plus size websites that I've never heard of before and this website popped up. Chic Soul is literally my dream closet that I want for myself, all of the clothing is definetely my style and I love the prices as well. Chic Soul is starting to become the fastest growing online boutique that provides curvy women the

Black Owned Business That You Need To Know About: Kreyole Essence

What going on my fellow beauty lovers, I hope that you are doing well and having a great Thursday and always wearing your masks to not only to protect yourself but to protect others around you. Having a hair care routine is essential for my self-care. Growing up, I had problems with my hair for the longest time, and having eczema caused me to have a very dry scalp and caused me to have dandruff. I changed the products that used and added the things that I needed for my hair type, including adding Castor Oil. I didn't know that Castor Oil has so many health benefits not just for hair but for the skin as well.  I was watching the BET Her series About Her Business (It's a show about some amazing black women and how they started their businesses from the ground up, I hope that they come back for a second two.) and I saw a new brand that I never heard of before called Kreyole Essence, so as I watched the show, I went on the website and I was impressed the story by the owner'sYv

I hope that you are having a relaxing Sunday and staying safe at this moment.  Now, for some of you lovely people, August is the month before September. But for me as a fashion blogger/lover/consumer, it's the calm before the Fall Fashion Storm. As I read through all of my favorite fashion magazines (and I mean all of them that the mailman delivers to my mailbox, I read them two, three, four times, front to back to be sure that I didn't miss anything) read all of my favorite blogger posts, go on websites and read articles and write down anything that I see about Fall Fashion. I take my fashion very seriously and I hope that you all can see that in every blog post that I do.  Color is the main focus of why we gravitate towards Fashion in any season, but for me, But Fall Fashion colors are the colors that I love the most. Latina Beauty Brand That You Need To Know About: Melt Cosmetics

Image
Well hello my fellow beauty lovers, I hope that you are doing well and staying safe during this crazy time in our world.  I don't know about you, but somehow someway I get suckered into these Instagram ads for up and coming makeup brands that are trying to make a name for themselves. But this brand really caught my attention with their gothic packaging and bold lip colors. I came to know about Melt Cosmetics when I was on a beauty influencer Instagram page and she had a palette of theirs's and (it was a beautiful palette might I add.) So I decided to check out their brand. Melt Cosmetics was founded in 2012 when Lora Arellano and Dana Bomar identified that highly pigmented, ultra-matte, bold shades of lipstick were missing from the cosmetics world. Melt Cosmetics set out to fill that void. The duo took their combined decade of experience in the makeup industry and working in retail, and invested their life savings to create 5 shades that sold out the minute they launched onlin

On My Fashion Wishlist: Polene

Hello again to all of my favorite people in the world, I hope that all of you are doing well and are staying safe in the world that we are living right now. I know that everything that we see on television is sad and frustrating but I feel that we are going to be better for this and be better people for this.   During the Fall, I love to add to my wardrobe a new handbag. I love what a handbag can give to my outfit on an everyday basis. And when it comes to the colors of my handbags for the Fall, I stick to the neutrals such as Gray, Black Beige, and Brown. I used to be into color for the handbags that I chose to carry in the Fall when I was younger (I REALLY thought I was a fashion expert, but boy I was wrong.)  but for me, it just got old and it looked tacky when I looked back on my outfits.  I've been seeing a lot of this brand called Polene Paris for the longest time and when I saw one of my favorite YouTubers Grace Denny unboxed one of their bags, I wanted to check this brand
