My Hair Care Routine

Image
Another Thursday, Another Beauty Blog Post that has to be done. Hello to all of my beautiful Beauty Lovers out there on this Thursday afternoon. I hope that you are doing well.  Self Care is something that I believe in BIG time. We as human beings give people so much of our time and energy, we need to give a little bit back to ourselves as well. Whether it's reading a good book, taking a walk around our neighborhood, or having a spa day at home. It's not selfish at all to take out a little time for ourselves. Washing your hair is the ultimate Self Care practices, your hair is the first thing that people see. My mother always said that you're making your first impression and you don't even know it and that quote always stay with me growing up. I feel confident when my hair is freshly washed and done. When I was growing up, I didn't take care of my hair at all and because of that, my hair completely broke off. I started to realized that if I don't tak

Happy Tuesday to my Fashion Lovers. I hope that you all are doing well and you wore something that made you feel beautiful today. As I was studying about Fashion  and even before I decided to become a Fashion Blogger myself, I really didn't understand the whole mixing of prints thing. I was always about a clean, monochromatic look. But what changed my about this was I was reading a article in a magazine and as I saw how it was styled really made me want to learn more about it for myself.  What I learned about mixing your prints is to match prints, not colors, always break up the look with a solid, mixing prints with different sizes scales, texture as count as a print, stripes are a neutral, matching the same print in different are a good thing, and you can even use your accessories to mix your prints as well. These tips will totally help you when you feel the need to have a mix your print type of day. The first picture is my absolute favorite, I love that the top has t

My Favorite Style Decade: The 1950's

Image
I hope that you all enjoying your Sunday Afternoon. I'm so happy to be back here with all of my Fashion Lovers. When I was a little girl, I watched old movies with my mother from the 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's. Whether it was in Black and White or in Color, I would  just be awe of all of the beautiful clothing that all the actresses would wear. I literally wanted to reach through the television and put all the things that I wanted in my closet and still to this day, I still watched old Black and White movies and still want all of the clothing that the actresses wore. The 1950's Fashion was all about a woman embracing her femininity and loving her curves.  I wished that we can all take style cues from the 1950's. I love the full skirts, the wide belt that gave the woman a classic coke bottle shape, the cigarette pants, the fitted dresses, and of course the forever iconic Puddle skirt. If I could pick a style decade that I could wear their clothes, it wou

Loving Your Hair Accessories

Well hello to all my Beauty Lovers. I hope that you are doing well on this Thursday afternoon. I missed doing Beauty Related on my Blog so today I decided to get back to posting my favorite Beauty Trends  It seems to be that the Hair Accessory are more important than the Fashion that is going down the catwalk. Hair Accessories has been having a major moment on the runways as of late. Especially for  the Spring/Summer 2019 runways. From Dainty, to Glitter, to bows, to even headbands. These trends can be worn in our hair in our everyday or on a night with the girls or date night. I first fell in love with Glitter when I saw my first Beauty Pageant on television. All of the beautiful dresses that just captured my young imagination. I saw pictures of the Simone Rocha Spring/Summer Collection on the Vogue website and it was absolutely beautiful. But really make think to my childhood was the headbands. The little girl inside me was screaming, the headband had feathers, pearls and of

Hello my Fashion Lovers and Happy Sunday to you all. I hope that you all are doing well since I last talked to you all last. This is this the first Blog Post as a College Graduate. Last Thursday,  I got my second Associate's Degree in Applied Science. Now the goal is to attend The University Of North Carolina At Greensboro to study in their Consumer, Apparel And Retail Studies or CARS program, I'll keep all of you posted. Ladies, I feel your pain when it comes to Swimsuit shopping. For some women, swimsuit shopping is frustrating, she may be bigger on the bottom and small on top or vice versa. I also find that it can be a constant reminder that you will measure up to the uber skinny models that is always in our faces. I come to the conclusion that I'll never be a size two ( and quite honestly, I don't want be. I'm from the South and I LOVE to eat.) I learned to love my body and if I have to get a bigger size, I'll just get a bigger size, At least my behind

But there's one smell that will never leave me for the rest of my life.  Every girl has gotten a "grown up" fragrance when they hit a huge part of their life. For me, It's was in Middle School. Tye Dye is really having a moment right now, but I've seen this trend on the runways for years and now, everyone is obsessed with this trend. This first picture that I'm about to show you is from the Blumarine Spring/Summer 2010 Ready-To-Wear collection. This dress just screams for a t

To Ugg Or Not To Ugg, That's The Infamous Fashion Question

Image
Another Thursday, Another Blog Post for all my Fashionable People to read. Hello my Fashion Lovers and Happy Thursday to all of you. I hope that you all had a amazing day filled with love, positivity, and of course Fashion.  When I say the word, Uggs. What's the first word that comes to your mind, Those ugly boots, Are they still around, Why are people still wearing. Uggs became popular in the early 2000's when Pamela Anderson Paris Hilton and other celebrities were wearing them everytime that you saw them. Wearing them with their dresses, and their Juicy Couture sweatsuits and even in 90 degree weather, ( Why would they do that, I'll never know.)  I was one of those girls that wanted a pair of Ugg boots, Just to put my foot into those ultra lambskin fur boots was a dream for a middle school girl like myself. I beg and pleaded with my mother to get me a pair, she said a big NO, they were too expensive she always would say.  So that year, My mother got me a dupe for
