Can I Please Borrow Your Stylish Sweater

Image
Happy Tuesday again my fashion lovers, I figured that I need to make up for lost time and I love fashion too much to do just one blog post for the last day of November.  Wearing a sweater is a part of my Fall and Winter uniform, I love being warm yet stylish at the same time. Sweaters are always a trend and I will probably be buried in a sparkly sweater when the good Lord calls me home. One day I was reading the November issue of Instyle Magazine (For the 1 millionth time.) and I saw that there were three types of sweaters that are popular at the moment and I thought to myself, my fellow fashion lovers need to know about this. We have all watched Grease (One of my favorite movies, ever.) and we saw that Danny Zuku gets his preppy varsity cardigan, I was on the Vogue website looking at the Chanel Fall/Winter Ready-To-Wear Collection and it made me think of that moment. But if you can't afford the Chanel price tag, Brooks Brothers has one for you for a fraction on sale for $186.00 o

Black Fashion Brand That You Need To Know About: Megan Renee

Image
Hello again my fashion friends, I hope that all of you had an amazing Thanksgiving, did a little Black Friday shopping, and I hope that you are having a great start to your week. I was on the internet one day and I saw a new Black Fashion Designer named Megan Renee, so I went on her website and when I tell y'all I was impressed with all her designs. Megan Renee is a sustainable women's contemporary brand created by Megan Smith in 2016 that is exclusively designed and made in Los Angeles. The brand was birthed after Megan felt undervalued and unappreciated while working as a designer for several private label brands. She also saw the amount of waste in the industry that fast fashion companies produced. That pain and lack of contentment pushed her into her passion.  Her first collections were created from sustainable deadstock fabric, and the brand prides itself on holding little to no inventory. All prints are originally designed by Megan and are digitally printed which uses a

Hello to all of my favorite beauty lovers, and welcome back to another Beauty Blog Post for this Thursday.   During the winter and the fact that I'm in my Thirties now, taking care of my skin is the most important thing to me. My skin is extremely dry and dull over the Winter so finding the right things for my skin is essential for me. Over the weekend, I was on the Glo Skin Beauty website and I saw that they have a new product that sparked my interest, so I clicked on it as soon as I saw it.  The Phyto-Calm Enzyme Mask, Formerly known as The Gentle Enzyme Exfoliant.  Hello again my fellow fashion lovers, I hope that all of you are doing well and had a great weekend and a great start to your week.  I have to admit this to myself, I think I'm becoming a certified shoe lover. Shoes are the framework for any outfit that we wear on a daily basis and I now see why so many women have a profound love for their shoes (Me included.) One day, I was on the Black Owned Everything Instagram page and I saw these gorgeous pair of shoes for a Black-Owned Brand that I've never heard of before, so I went on their website and I fell in love with every single pair of shoes that I saw on their website, I'm not kidding.  The back story of Agnes Bethel is something that I relate to a lot. It is for a real woman and a real muse. The mother of head designer Justice was an immigrant, hardworking, but always put together elegant woman. She came from the small island of Petite Martinique, Grenada, and there found her deep passion for making clothes and appreciatio

Well hello again to all of my fashion friends this Tuesday, I hope that all of you had a great weekend and are having a great start to your week ahead.  Sustainable Fashion is really something that I've been loving looking at lately, For a lot of people, sustainable fashion is so expensive and why would I even invest in it when I can get a lot of things for dirt cheap, Believe me, I agree with you, but the amount of harm that we are doing to Mother Earth herself is something that I'm not proud of doing so now I'm going to go into my closet and style things that I can wear over and over again. I wanted to let you guys know about a new fashion brand that I read about in the November issue of Instyle Magazine that I now am in love with. In my fashion world, the basics are always in fashion, and elegance is always approved in my fashion wardrobe. I love how you can make the basics a lot chicer. and how you can wear these pieces for years to come.  LEIGH NY is an apparel brand

My Fall Fashion Obsession: Leather

Image
In my world, Fashion NEVER sleeps. Hello again, and Happy Tuesday to all of my fashion-obsessed people. I hope that all of you had a great weekend and a great start to your week.  Personally, when I think of Fall, I think of Leather. Leather is such a luxe material that gives off the vibe of being so automatically chic all of the time, through handbags, shoes, and clothing. I remember my mother brought a long faux-leather coat in the sixth grade, I felt so fashionable every time that I wore it to school, went out with my family, or wore it just because it was hanging up in my room. Wearing Leather in the Fall just makes my fashion-loving soul so happy I love seeing all of my favorite fashion bloggers style their leather fashion.  I was reading the November issue of Instyle Magazine (Zendaya looks amazing on the cover by the way.) and I saw a gorgeous dress from Altuzarra and I love the cinched waist and the slit of the dress is tasteful without looking old.  https://modesens.com/produc
