On My Beauty Wishlist: HairBurst

Image
Who doesn't love a beauty blog post on this good Thursday? Hello again beauty lovers, I hope that all of you are ready for Friday and all of your weekend festivities.  As women, our hair is our armor, a security blanket if you will. Everybody always compliments a woman on hair and what products that she uses, I wear braids most of the time and when I don't wear braids I try to take care of my real hair as possible. I try to use products that will not only help my hair grow but will moisturize my hair from the scalp and has clean ingredients as well. I heard about Hairburst a few years ago but never really give much thought to them, then one day I saw their Instagram page and I look into the Shampoo And Conditioner and love the ingredients. The Shampoo And Conditioner have Amino acids that help add moisture to the hair,  Designed to wash away excess sebum. Too much of this oil on your scalp can shrink hair follicles and lead to hair loss and excess shedding, Panthenol retains wa

Coix On My Feet, So Get Like Me.

Hello fashion lovers, and Happy Tuesday to all of you. I hope that all of you had a great weekend and trying to make it to Friday, Fashionably of course.  I've said it before, and I will say it again. I'm a girl with BIG feet, but I LOVE fashion and the number of shoe companies that cater to big feet girls such as JustFab, Shoedazzle, Smash Shoes, and many others gives us fashionable shoes that don't look like Granny shoes.  One day, I was on my Instagram page and I noticed that a shoe brand followed me called Coix, and I went on their Instagram page and I was impressed with the selection and the quality of their shoes. Charlotte and Sherene, co-creators of CoIX (pronounced COY). As two proudly tall women who wear size UK 11/US 13/EU 46 footwear, we found the shoe shopping experience challenging and disheartening, to say the least. We grew frustrated with the lack of choices, uncomfortable fit and quality, and uninspiring styles and color options in footwear for our size.

I can't believe it's Thursday again already. Hello beauty lovers, and Happy Thursday to you all. I hope that all of you are ready for Friday and the upcoming weekend that's ahead of us.  As many of you know, Marc Jacobs is one of my Fashion designers, but ever since they released Marc Jacobs Beauty, I've been obsessed with everything from their eyeshadows palettes, to their mascaras, to their Coconut Face Primer, to even their lipsticks. But I've may found something else that I have to add to my ever-growing beauty wishlist.  Last weekend, I was watching one of my favorite British YouTubers, Laura Blair (@TheLauraBlair) was doing a PR unboxing that she got in the mail (Y'all if I would get on the Marc Jacobs PR List, I might just pass out, Just Saying.) and they released a new Concealer and Foundation, so I wanted to see more about it and I went on the Marc Jacobs Beauty website right away, The description of this Concealer and Foundation is Wake up your skin w

Hello and Happy Tuesday to all of you fashion lovers out there, I hope that you all have had an amazing day and were as safe as possible.  Last year, there were a lot of Black-Owned Businesses and Fashion designers that were being pushed into the limelight (And rightfully so.) for all of us to completely admire and put into our closets, and as more and more Black Fashion designers are coming into the fashion world, there's one handbag designer that I've been obsessed with for the longest time and I wanted to introduce to you guys to him today.  As I was researching some Black-Owned Handbag designers on Instagram, I follow this page called Black Owned Everything (@blackownedeverthing)  Brandon Blackwood popped up. So I decided to go on his website and I fell in love with ALL of his handbags. Brandon Blackwood was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.  Hello again Fashion Lovers and Happy Tuesday to you all, I hope that all of you had a great day and were as safe as possible in the world that we live in currently.  If you guys follow me on Instagram, you guys would have noticed that I have put this new designer (Well, he's new to me, not to the Fashion World.) at the end of Fashion Friday, he even liked my post from his Spring/Summer 2021 Ready-To-Wear Collection. So I decided to dedicate a blog post about him and his designs.  Frederick Anderson's collection is a collection of designs and ideas by Frederick Anderson. Frederick started his first company fresh out of FIT ( That's short for The Fashion Institute Of Technology In New York City.) and after 20 successful years in the industry Frederick is finally working on his own singular vision of clothing, selling, and ultimately how he sees women dressing and living today. The Frederick Anderson woman lives in the world and not in her home. She loves life and lives her l

On My Beauty Wishlist: Dior Roses N Roses

Image
Hello again Beauty Lovers, I hope that you guys are ready for Friyay and the weekend to come and you were staying as safe as possible.  There's no better smell than a beautiful rose, it's romantic, feminine, and bold all at the same time. It's brought me back to my childhood every time that I smell a rose. Dior has a new Fragrance that I'm obsessed with ever since I smelled the sample page in several Fashion magazines. Miss Dior Rose N'Roses is a sparkling floral fragrance, a profusion of Grasse Roses refreshed by a zest of Bergamot and heightened by the intensity of a White Musk note. The freshness of an armful of colorful fresh petals and the invigorating energy of citrusy dew characterize this fragrance. The vibrant essence of Geranium refines the composition with its citrusy aromas to faithfully recreate the irresistible scent of an endless field of flowers. A bright pink hue adorns the fragrance that takes hold of you and never lets go. This beautiful bottle o

New Fashion Designer: Asata Maise

Happy Tuesday all of my fashion lovers, I hope that all of you have had an amazing day and were safe as possible.  There are so many amazing fashion designers that I discovered during quarantine last year. And now in 2021, I see so many new designers that really sparked my interest in finding out about the designer, the inspiration for their collection, and how they are going to make their impact in the fashion world. I was reading the February issue of Vogue Magazine, and they had a feature called "The Local News and as I was flipping through the pages, I saw the designer Asata Maise and I must say, her designs brought me back to my childhood.  Asata Maisé considers herself an unconventional modern-day couturier (a designer that produces high-quality handcrafted clothing). For the past 13 years, Maisé has been committed to expressing her personal experiences, values, philosophies, and inspirations through the mediums of fashion and style. In the earlier days of her relationship

Well, I saw a new handbag company that I'm obsessed with right now. When it comes to the Spring, colors reign supreme and I get so excited seeing the pastels and bold colors that we all love to wear during the season. A pop of color can really set off a white outfit.  I was on the internet in the middle of the night and I saw this handbag that I love so I decided to go on their website and I LOVED all of the handbags that I saw on their website. The FemiHandbags brand aims to capture a spirit of individuality that does not attempt to adhere to seasonal trends. Perceived as works of art, the handbags are made from the finest leathers and inspired by simple, classic shapes and vintage-styled silhouettes. Love It Or Loathe It: Urban Decay Naked Wild West Eyeshadow Palette

Image
Hello again my fellow beauty lovers, addicts, obsessed. I hope that all of you have had a great Thursday and were as safe as possible.  I've been meaning to put this blog post up for a while now, but it slipped my mind. Now, I love Urban Decay products and I still want to add the Naked palettes in my makeup drawers, but there's one palette that I'm still on the fence about because I feel like I have seen the same colors but just in different palettes before. I remember seeing a tutorial of Camila Mendes from Riverdale making a makeup look with the palette and I'm not going to y'all, I was impressed with the colors and how vibrant the colors were, but I had to be honest with myself, Do I want a palette that had colors that I have already seen in previous palettes before and for the $49.00 price tag, I feel that I can invest in another palette that I wanted for a long time.  The Urban Decay Naked Wild West is described as an all-vegan eyeshadow palette with 12 desert

And one of the products from Epara that they suggested that we use is the cleansing lotion so I went on the website and fell in love with the whole vibe of the website.
