Blue Eyeshadow: A Do Or A Don't

Image
Happy Thursday beauty lovers, I hope that you all are doing well and being safe and kind to each other. I couldn't wait to get here and talk to you guys about something in the beauty world that has a love/hate relationship with a lot of people who love make-up.  The Blue eyeshadow is something I really quite don't understand why some women love it, I called the Blue Eyeshadow "The Beauty Unicorn" I feel that it kinda makes you look older than you really are or you are stuck in the '80s or '90s. I ask my mother about how she feels about the whole blue eyeshadow things and she told me she hated it, while my older sister says that it's okay. I'm not the type of girl who likes very loud, bold makeup, I tend to stick to neutral and berry tones eyeshadows because they suit my skin tone the best and I think that this beauty trend is geared to the younger girls that can really pull this off, I not that cool to pull this off at all. Absolutely Stunning

Feeling Rather Lacey

Happy Tuesday to you all, I hope that you all doing well and taking care of yourselves during this crazy time in our world right now. I love talking to guys about the latest things in the fashion world that really has caught my eye at the moment and some things that really has gotten me scratching my head.  Now we all know that lace is synopsis with the fashion world the longest time. It's a perfect blend of sweet and sexy at the same time and I'm absolutely here for it. I have several pieces of lace items in my closet that brings me absolute happiness. I could remember when I got my first item of lace, it was a dress that my mother brought me as a little girl and the obsession began. Lace can add a softness to a rugged, masculine suit, a leather jacket, or even a pair of combat boots. When I wear something that is lacey, I feel that my feminine side comes out and it makes me want to put my best foot forward to the world, lace will and always will be a fashion do in my in

Color Alert: Pink And Orange

Happy Sunday everyone, I hope that all of you are doing well and taking care of yourselves. I couldn't wait to get back to you all and talk all about the latest and greatest in the fashion world that's really been blowing my mind.  The color combination of Pink And Orange is really having a moment on the runways for Spring/Summer 2020. It's such a beautiful and girly combination that has been paired up in my opinion. I read about this trend the April issue of Instyle Magazine when I saw this myself. The color Orange is the color of joy and creativity. Orange promotes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy that should be shared, such as compassion, passion, and warmth while the color Pink is considered feminine, erotic, kitsch, sophisticated, and transgressive. Every time that I think of Spring and Summer, I think of these colors. Who else LOVED The Oscar De La Renta Spring/Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear Collection, I know I did. This dress is so gorgeous and I

On My Beauty Wishlist: Tatcha Beauty

Hello again beauty lovers, I so happy to be here with you all again and talk about some of the things in the beauty world that I love and some of the things in the beauty world that are just unnecessary. There are so many beauty brands that I love just by listening to other beauty bloggers and hearing their reviews about the brands, but this brand that I'm going to tell you guys about is when I was watching QVC and I saw this brand and I was intrigued to find out more about this new brand that was introduced to me. After years of working for large corporations, The founder of Tatcha Victoria Tsai yearned for simplicity and authenticity in her life. Suffering from acute dermatitis (Just like me) and developing a keen awareness of the importance of ingredients on the skin, she began traveling East in search of a more evolved, holistic approach to beauty. On a trip to Kyoto, she discovered a world of pure beauty, craftsmanship, and heritage. An encounter with a modern-day geisha

Somebody Stepped On My Vegan Leather Shoes.

So what do you do when it's a Wednesday night, You do a blog post for all of you lovely people to read. I hope that all of you are doing well and practicing social distancing, fashionably of course. I always love talking to my fashionable people as much as possible. I really love seeing up-and-coming fashion companies that are making a conscious effort to use Vegan leather, it's would always make me wonder "why would anybody kill an animal just for their fur and leather. Vegan  Leather is just or as better as real leather and you know that none of our animal friends were killed. Don't get me wrong, I want several designer handbags that use real leather, I might have to think that over. I'm trying to be a better person and be aware of the products that I use, the fashion that I wear, and what animals have to go through on a daily basis.  I can speak for all women that I love shoes, shoes are the finishing piece to any women's outfit. I want to introduce

Good Morning Fashion Lovers and welcome back to my blog. I hope that all of you are doing well and taking care of yourselves during this crazy time in our world. I couldn't wait to get back to you and talk about all of the fashion trends that have everyone buzzing lately. I beyond over with this "Fast Fashion" trend that we've been seeing as of late. I don't know why some trends become trends, to begin with. I really do get it, the fashion industry changes so much it's hard to keep up sometimes, especially me as a fashion blogger. I love to see trends that are wearable for years to come and I don't have to donate it to a charity shop in 3-9 months' time.  Sometimes the classics will always stand the test of time instead of the completely tacky and sometimes trashy trends that are in fashion at the moment. If I want to try a trend, I would not spend thousands of dollars on that trend, I would go on Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe to try it out. I

If You Can't Afford It, Dupe It.

Happy Sunday Fashion Lovers, I hope that all of you are doing well and taking care of yourself and your family during this crazy time in our world that we are living in. I know for me the only that gets me through the toughest times was getting lost in a fashion magazine, reading a good book, meditating and calling to check on my family members. I promise that we will get through this and we will be better than ever before. Let's be honest, I don't have a lot of money. The Lord hasn't blessed with the bank account that I've manifested just yet. And even if I did the bank account that The Lord is going to bless me with in the near future. I would still carry a designer dupe. I love to have a designer bag and there are some on my list that I will have in my huge walk-in closet, but until then I will be fine carrying around an amazing designer dupe. If you guys are wondering what on earth is a dupe,  A dupe is a copy of a designer handbag but at the fraction of the pr

Beauty Lovers, I hope that you are doing well on this Thursday. During this time I hope that you all are taking care of yourselves both physically and mentally, stay safe and please stay at home. I couldn't wait to get back to you and tell what beauty products I've seen in my favorite magazines and blog posts and some beauty trends and products that I've not been a fan of at all. During my teens and in my twenties, I try my very best to take care of my skin. Now that I'm thirty, it's essential. I try to find the best products for my skin type (Dry and Sensitive) and I found some great products but I always try to find some new products to add to my everyday skin routine. As a beauty blogger, lover, and consumer, it's my duty to try these products and report to you guys to say if I love them or hate them. I first saw the Gleamin Vitamin C Clay Mask when I was on Instagram one night I'm going to be completely honest with you guys, I thought that it wa

Hello fellow fashion lovers, I hope that you are doing well and being safe during this time. You guys are probably wondering where in the heck was I last week, well I was taking a little mental break from blogging. I want y'all to know that I absolutely love what I love I do, but sometimes it's okay to take some time for yourself. My mother has this saying and it goes something like this, You can't give your best when you are not at your best. If I learned anything during this time, it is not only to take care of yourself physically but mentally as well. I'm sorry for leaving you guys hanging like that but I'm back now and I feel better and all of my creative juices are flowing right now. Sustainability is not only for Fashion but in jewelry as well. As a consumer, I love to see jewelry brands care about where their materials come from and that is something that I'm leaning towards when I buy jewelry. I found about Ana Luisa when I was watching a YouTuber t

Happy Sunday and I hope that all of you are doing well and trying your best to live your lives in the world that we all are trying to live in right now. I hope that any of my blog posts give you a little distraction from all of the news that is constantly on television and on the news.   I was reading the April issue of Instyle Magazine and I saw that Orange was going to be huge for Spring. Every time that I think of the color orange, I think of the Spring and Summertime. It's such a bright and bold color that anyone can pull off and every time that I wear orange I feel so sassy and powerful. The color orange has been used in the fashion world for a long time and I don't think the love affair with the color orange will never slow down. Orange promotes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy that should be shared, such as compassion, passion, and warmth. Kiki Layne has been KILLING the fashion game right now. I love seeing what she's going to wear next to t

YSL Libre, Be In My Life

Hello Beauty Lovers, I hope that you all are doing well despite what's going on right now. I couldn't wait to get back to y'all and talk about things in the beauty world that I've been loving at the moment and some things that I dread at the moment. As many of you know, I LOVE a great bottle of perfume. To me wearing a great perfume makes me feel confident in myself and makes me more feminine. But there's one perfume that is absolutely beautiful and the smell is intoxicating and I need this in my life.   YSL is one of my favorite fashion designers, so when they launched into the beauty world I was very excited. I was reading a fashion magazine (Of course I was reading a fashion magazine) and I saw that Dua Lipa was the spokeswoman for the new perfume YSL Libre and she looked beautiful luckily, the magazine that I was reading had a sample of the perfume and when I smelled this, I instantly felt so sexy and empowered. This fragrance combines lavender essence
