On My Fashion Wishlist: Coach Quilted Tabby

Image
I've missed y'all so much and Happy Monday to all of you. I hope that your weekend was filled with fun and relaxation.  Purses are and forever will be my first love. As many of you know, I did a blog post on the Coach Tabby bag that is still on my wishlist, but over the weekend I watched a YouTuber talking about the Coach Quilted Tabby, and I fell in love with it, this bag also falls into the pillow bag trend. This bag is a part of their Spring 2024 presentation, this limited-edition Tabby Shoulder Bag 20 is a modern take on an archival 1970s Coach design. Crafted of quilted plush, ultra-soft nappa leather, the petite 20 is slightly smaller than the 26. Finished with their Signature hardware for an iconic touch, it features a long leather chain strap to wear crossbody or double up for a shorter, dressier look. The bag comes in five colors and the price for this bag is $395.00.  https://www.coach.com/products/tabby-shoulder-bag-20-with-quilting/CP149-B4%2FHA.html My fellow fas

On My Fashion Wishlist: Jack Erwin Stella Mules

Image
Happy Wednesday fashion lovers, I hope that all of you don't mind that I'm doing another blog post. I'm full of inspiration right now and I have to tell you guys about it.  I know that we're still in Winter, but I'm already thinking of Fall, I was reading the October issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine and I saw the James Erwin Stella Mules, I love them and I thought how great they would be in my closet for the upcoming Fall and Winter. There's not really a whole lot of information that I can give on this company, and I totally apologize about that but I can tell you that Jack Erwin was founded in 2013 in New York City by Lane Gerson and Ariel Nelson, and in  2019, they introduced their first women’s collection. The Stella Mules are a modern, everyday slip-on pair with a clean, unadorned design with a squared toe that lasts for a sculptural look and secure fit, handcrafted in Portugal from Nappa leather, thoughtful details include a plush foam insole and a l

I Have A Need For Tweed

Image
Well hello again to all of my fellow fashion lovers out there, I've missd y'all so much and I hope that all of you had a awesome weekend.  Just like the Little Black Dress, Coco Chanel revolutionize Tweed and how the fashion world has adopted it into their closets. Growing up, I thought that Tweed was a elderly woman thing, but as I gotten older, I realized that Tweed represents class, wealth, elegance, and overall stylish. I love forward to having a tweed or several pieces of tweed in my closet and have matching Mommy-And-Me tweed moments with my daughters one day.  Cardi B is in Chanel from their Spring/Summer 2019 Ready-To-Wear Collection.  This piece is from the Chanel Fall/Winter 2022-23 Ready-To-Wear Collection that I need in my closet.  I'm beyond obsessed with this Tweed jacket from L'agence that I saw on the Bloomingdale's website that is currently on sale at the moment, most of the sizes are sold out.  https://www.bloomingdales.com/shop/product/lagence-b

My Fashion Obession: Tuxedo Jackets

Image
Hello again fashion lovers, I hope that all of you are doing well and had a great weekend. Let's all work hard so that we can enjoy the next weekend. This is just my honest opinion, the suit is the one thing in fashion that is genderless, ageless, and just downright chic. We all know that Yves Saint Laurent made it cool for women to wear a suit and look feminine. I was reading in the December/January issue of Harper's Bazaar that Tuxedo Jackets were a huge trend on the Fall/Winter runways. I love seeing a woman wear a suit because it blends masculine and feminine perfectly.  Every single piece from the Givenchy Resort 2024 Collection was pure perfection, especially this piece. I love the cinch waist and I also feel that the coat could be worn as a dress as well. I'm obsessed with this piece from the Moschino Pre-Fall 2023 Collection, it looks so like something that Josephine Baker would wear to a red carpet or for one of her performances.  This suit is from the Yves Saint

On My Beauty Wishlist: Givenchy L'Interdit Eau De Parfum

Image
Happy Thursday/Friday eve beauty lovers, I hope that all of you are doing well and we made it to the weekend so let's all be happy about it.  Fun fact about me, I'm a HUGE Audrey Hepburn fan and I don't make any apologies for it at all, she's one of my favorite old Hollywood actresses of all time. I was reading a special magazine about her and I found out that she wore a special perfume that Givenchy made for her called L'Interdit (Forbidden in French.) I'm a complete sucker for floral scents. With its forbidden blend of white flowers and a dark accord, L'Interdit Eau de Parfum is a resolutely underground flower. It unveils a sensual bouquet of orange blossom, jasmine, and tuberose. In contrast, earthy dark tones emanate from vetiver and patchouli to create a daringly addictive and sensual fragrance. In homage to the design of Hubert de Givenchy's first perfume, the bottle is truly timeless and terribly modern. With a round squareness and a soft strengt

Happy Monday fashion lovers, I hope that you all had a great day. Today is MLK Day and I want to tell you guys about a Black and woman-owned brand that I think all of you fashionable people would like. On My Beauty Wishlist: Colourpop Golden Hour Eyeshadow Palette

Image
New year, New beauty trends, products, and brands, same Thursday blog post. I've missed you all so much during my holiday break, you guys are truly my favorite people and I'm so blessed and grateful to be here with you all again and talk about some of the beautiful things that this new beauty year has to offer.  Does anyone still wear Colourpop, or have we stopped supporting them?  I'll be honest, I feel that they are kinda of stale when it comes to the ideas with it comes to their collaborations and palette ideas. While I was on break, I went on the Colourpop website and saw The Golden Hour Eyeshadow Palette and I fell in love with the color story (I'm a neutral-eyed girlie, what can I say.) The palette features 16 warm sunset golds and bronzes in Matte, Metallic, Pearlescent Glitter, Matte Sparkle, and duo-chrome finishes. The ultra-pigmented pressed powder formula is long-lasting, feels velvety, applies evenly, and blends out perfectly. This palette is also perfect

Yes, You Can Wear Lingerie During The Day.

I've missed you guys so much, Happy New Year to all of my fashion lovers and I hope that your 2024 is going well. I can't wait to share with you all the trends, new designers, and everything that sparks my interest in the fashion world.  Now, we all know that Lingerie is a "special piece of clothing" that you wear for that special someone or for yourself. But as we see on the Spring/Summer 2024 runways, lingerie-inspired fashions are going to be huge. I could remember back in the early 2000s seeing girls wearing lingerie-inspired baby dolls on the red carpet or in magazine articles. One of my style icons is Lupita Nyong'o, and she wore a Gucci Dress at the LACMA Art and Film Gala, I love how the color of the dress went with her beautiful dark skin tone and her diamond necklace added the right amount of sparkle.  The Spring/Summer 2024 Ready-To-Wear Collection from Coach marked ten years for Stuart Vevers. I love how the collection was mostly black with a few pops
