Socks And Sandals ARE NEVER A GOOD LOOK

Image
Happy Sunday everyone, I hope that you all are doing well and wearing the most comfiness loungewear that you have in your drawer. I hope that you are ready to hear what I have to say about the Latest Fashion Trends that are taking over the Fashion World. In 2018, there was a lot of fashion trends that carried over into 2019. Some trends that became popular, but there are some that I absolutely hated (Case in point, The Translucent Trend)  I don't know why we all fall into the trap of  "This Is The Hottest Trend" or "You Need This In Your Closet". My mother always told me this ever since I was a little girl, "Just because everyone else is doing it, doesn't mean you have to do it". Being a Fashion Blogger it's my job to know what's on-trend in the Fashion World and report it back to you guys and give you my honest opinion on the trends that everyone is going to be wearing on an everyday basis.  One of my favorite Luxury Fashion Vlogg

My Favorite Underrated Makeup Brands: Lorac Cosmetics

Image
Hello to all of my favorite Beauty Lovers, hoarders, and product junkies. I hope that you are doing well today and are ready to hear what I have to say on the latest beauty that I'm loving and some beauty trends that I'm not feeling at all.  I was watching one of my favorite Danish Youtubers, Camilla Frederikke and she was showing her very impressive makeup collection. And when she got into her eyeshadow palette collection I notice that she had some Lorac palettes and I thought to myself, why wasn't anybody using Lorac products anymore. I was introduced to Lorac Cosmetics at the same time that I was introduced to Urban Decay back when I was in High School and I always wanted to buy one or a couple for my eyeshadow palette collection. I even begged and pleaded with my mother to buy me for Christmas or my Birthday let's just say, It never happened. Their palettes are pigmented and the packaging is simple. It hurts me that Lorac Cosmetics is not as popular as other ma

New Handbag Bag That I'm Obsessed With: Azurina

Image
Happy Tuesday to all of you, I hope that you are doing well and wearing the coziest sweater that you have in your closet for this Fall day. I absolutely LOVE handbags, the obsession started when I was in the fourth grade and my mother brought me a black nylon crossbody bag with butterflies on it. I usually pick out my handbag before I pick out the outfit that I'm wearing for that day. As women, we carry a lot of things in our bags on an everyday basis and my personal take on this is why can't our bags be fashionable and a functional piece in our everyday lives. I feel that a handbag does tell a story about your outfit and ties your outfit together. Many people won't remember the out that you wore but they will definitely remember the handbag you carried.  I came to know about Azurina when I was watching one of my favorite U.K. based Fashion Bloggers and Youtubers, Laura Blair. Her style is just amazing and she shares in my style philosophy, You don't have to ha

What Would My Rhinestone Belt Do.

Happy Sunday to all of me Fashion Lovers, I hope that you are doing well on this beautiful Fall day. I hope that you are ready to hear what I have to say on some fashion trends that are rocking my world and so trends that I wish would go away. Now please forgive me for what I'm about to say, but I absolutely HATE this trend. The Rhinestone Belt is one hideous trend that I don't know why it even became a trend but I want it to go away from my Fashion rearview and timeline. I'm pretty sure that it became a huge trend from a Fashion Blogger to me it seems that everything that we look at in Fashion comes from our favorite influencers and runway shows that we see all the time in our fashion magazines and articles about the latest trends. I'm over these cheap-looking trends that everyone and their mama are wearing, I love the classic trends that I know that I can pull out 10, 15, or 20 years from now and I know that I will be on-trend. But if you are into the super t

My Favorite Drug Store Buys

Image
Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to you all. I hope that you all had an amazing day and treated yourself to a nice little beauty treat. It always kills me when I see a celebrity saying that I can't live without this beauty product and you look up what the product is and it costs over $200, $400, or even more. I don't have the time or the bank account to waste money on things that I can go to my local drug stores and get the same results as the overpriced ones. I hope that I can afford some of the luxury items that I have my eyes on, but until then I will buy these drug stores beauty products. For some people, an eyelash curler is a torture device. But for me, it's the greatest thing on earth. I don't have long beautiful eyelashes so if there's anything that can give me the illusion that I have long eyelashes then let me have it. The E.L.F Eyelash Curler is only $3.00 and it works so well for me.  https://www.elfcosmetics.com/eyelash-curler/1705.htm

I've Got Mustard On My Shirt

Image
Hello everybody and welcome back to my Blog. I hope that you all are doing well and enjoying your day and trying your best to stay warm. As many of you all know, Yellow is my favorite color and it's always has been ever since I was a little girl. My love for the color Yellow started when my mother brought me a yellow shirt for me to wear for my fourth-grade year. The way it made me feel every time I wore that shirt, I knew that Yellow was my color. But for the Fall, I like to tone things down when it comes to wearing bright Yellow. Mustard Yellow is a beautiful color in its own right, but it's a great alternative color to wear in the Fall as well. I saw Aimee Song wearing this absolutely gorgeous long duster coat at New York Fashion Week and I believe that it was from her collaboration with Revolve. Mustard Yellow is not just a Fall and Winter Color, but it can be worn all year round. I love fashion colors that can be worn all year long.  I will say this over and over

Quit Your Puffering

Good Morning, Good Afternoon, or Good Evening and any other time zone that I may have forgotten to mention. Thank You for stopping by my blog and I hope that you are doing well on this Sunday and wearing a cozy sweater and being fashionable while doing so.  If there's anything that reminds me of the '90s fashion period is the Puffer Coat. The memory of the Puffer Coat for me started when I saw Jennifer Lopez's video for Feeling So Good and she was walking down the street in a Black and Yellow Puffer Jacket. I thought how cool is this jacket so I ask my mother can I get this newfound obsession of mine and for that Christmas that year she got me a purple Puffer Coat. I'm glad that I'm seeing the things that remind me of my childhood in Fashion again. Puffer coats have been in Fashion for a few seasons now and now everyone has one from all the Fashion Bloggers that I follow to all of my favorite fashion websites. I'm not even going to lie to y'all, but I

My Beauty Obsession: Red Lipstick

Image
Hello, my beauty lovers, I hope that you all are doing well today and wearing your best lipstick, your eyelashes are never wonky, and your contour is never cracking. I have a deep, dark confession to tell you guys about, I absolutely love red lipstick. To me, it just adds the old Hollywood glamour that I live for. The obsession with Red Lipstick began when I saw Marilyn Monroe in Gentleman Prefers Blonds ( One Of My Favorite Marilyn Monroe Movies) and she wore her iconic pink dress and her fur and I thought to my young self, I cannot wait until I can wear make-up to channel my inner Marilyn Monroe. I feel that every woman should own one or at least one hundred red lipsticks in their make up drawer, another thing that I love about red lipstick is that it's a universal color and it makes me feel confident and beautiful.  When Queen Rihanna collaborated with M.A.C and created Ruby Roo, every beauty blogger that I followed went crazy over it. This lipstick is still on my wishl

Feeling Fine And Prairie

Image
Hello, again Fashion Friends. I hope that you are doing well on this Tuesday and being at your most fashionable best. When it's comes to dresses in the Fall, I opt for a longer one than what I do in the Spring and Summer, I was reading this month's Cosmopolitan that I receive in the mail and I saw that Prairie Dresses are going to be on-trend for the Fall season. A prairie dress is that one classic piece is always in fashion for all four seasons, in every print, fabric, long and short. Another thing that I love about prairie dresses being on-trend for this Fall is that they give me all of the romantic and feminine feels that we all love in fashion at all times. The first two dresses are from ASOS. The great news is that they are gorgeous, the bad news is one of them is sold out on their website. The first has Spring vibes all over it, I love the blue flowers and the nude underlay. The way they accessorized this dress is spot on, unfortunately this is the dress that is

I'll Take Max Mara For $500, Alex

Hello again Fashion Friends, I hope that you are enjoying your weekend. I'm so glad that I can be here with you this Sunday and talk about the thing that brings us all together. Is it just me or is Max Mara is having a fashion moment right now? I've always been a fan of his designs for years because of his classic, chic, and feminine style ( My total style muse) My fashion obsession began years ago when I was reading an issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine Spring Fashion Issue and I saw this beautiful camel coat and I just thought to myself, How long do I have to save up for that beautifully created coat that I just saw in that magazine. Max Mara is an Italian fashion business. It markets up-market ready-to-wear clothing. It was established in 1951 in Reggio Emilia by Achille Maramotti. The Max Mara Spring/Summer 2019 Ready-To-Wear Collection was stunning beyond words. I wanted every coat, sweater, and the handbags that I saw in this collection. My absolute favorite co
