My Favorite Drug Store Buys
Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to you all. I hope that you all had an amazing day and treated yourself to a nice little beauty treat.
It always kills me when I see a celebrity saying that I can't live without this beauty product and you look up what the product is and it costs over $200, $400, or even more. I don't have the time or the bank account to waste money on things that I can go to my local drug stores and get the same results as the overpriced ones. I hope that I can afford some of the luxury items that I have my eyes on, but until then I will buy these drug stores beauty products.
For some people, an eyelash curler is a torture device. But for me, it's the greatest thing on earth. I don't have long beautiful eyelashes so if there's anything that can give me the illusion that I have long eyelashes then let me have it. The E.L.F Eyelash Curler is only $3.00 and it works so well for me.
Another thing that I love about E.L.F cosmetics is their eyeshadow palettes. They're so pigmented and affordable. I recently got the Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette in Sunset. The colors are so appropriate for Fall and I love the price at $10.00.
I talked about the Garnier Fructis Grow Strong Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner and 1 Minute Hair Mask. They have been a complete game-changer for my hair and I will always make sure that they are in my hair care routine.
After I washed my hair, I immediately put on The Cantu Grow Strong Strengthening Treatment, another game-changer for my hair. I love that my hair is starting to feel and looking healthy for the first time in a long time.
As the Fall and Winter temperatures dip down, its time for me to switch up my facial moisturizer, I've been using the Ponds Dry Skin Cream ever since I was in High School and it keeps my skin so soft and hydrated during the Fall and Winter and doesn't break out my skin. I only use a little bit because it's very rich.
Speaking of face products, The St. Ives Gentle Smoothing Oatmeal Scrub And Mask. I use this once a week to give my skin so well needed TLC. I smells so good and see a difference every time that I use it. My skin feels so smooth and the texture of my skin is better.
Keeping with the St. Ives theme, The Body Wash is my best friend when my eczema flares up. It keeps my eczema problems at bay and helps it goes away faster. I heard that Cetaphil has a body wash for eczema that I want to try out for myself.
My mother gave me her Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara because she didn't like it. Her loss was my gain. I love this mascara because it gives me the perfectly separated lashes and does not give me clumpy lashes, an added bonus it has Coconut oil in it so I know that my lashes are getting a little beauty treatment
I never knew that exfoliating your skin was so important. I was in Wal Mart one day I picked up the Softsoap Body Scrub and I'm in love. I smell like a Coconut Cupcake. This probably my 10th bottle because I love this so much and when I use it, my skin feels so smooth
I constantly ask for forgiveness from the Beauty God that I slept on Carmex for most of my life. My lips get very dry during the winter so I need something that I know will keep my lips protected, heals it when it needs to, and smoothes it. I have to have this in my makeup bag.
I hope that you will all realized that you don't have to use overly priced beauty products to feel beautiful. Use the things that work for you and let your inner beauty shine. I love you all so much and Thank You so much for stopping by the blog and until next time, Stay Beautiful.
