I can't wait to see what the weekend holds for me.  As many of you know, I love Elf Cosmetics because they are so affordable and some of their products work so well for me. and I saw that they have a new mascara from an article that I read on the US Weekly website. This mascara features a curved and double-sided silicone brush to give you your most lifted lashes ever. Chocolate For Fall, Yes Please

Image
Happy Tuesday fashion lovers, I'm so glad to be here with all of you again and I hope that all of you had a great weekend.  The Fall color palette is my favorite to see in fashion, we all that it will have usual subjects and a few colors that would be considered for Spring. I was on the Refinery 29 website and I saw that Chocolate Brown was going to be a huge color for the Fall and Winter, I thought to myself, Chocolate Brown is a great altenative to Black, Gray, or Beige. I  think that we need to broaden our fashion horizons and wear things that we would never wear I have seen this color paired beautifully with other colors and I'll try this trend out for myself as well.  Stella McCartney, Tory Burch, Lanvin, Mithridate, featured this trend on their Fall/Winter 2023 colletions, while Bianca Spender had this trend on her Spring/Summer 2023 Collection and Tiffany Brown has it on her Fall/Winter 2022 Ready-To-Wear Collection.  If you want to try this trend on you...

Hispanic Fashion Designer That You Need To Know About: Maygel Coronel

Image
Hello everyone and Happy Sunday to all of you, I hope that all of you are doing well and are soaking up the last remaining hours of your weekend.  Since this is the last day of Hispanic Heritage Month, I want to finish it with a designer who has pieces that are simple, yet bold at the same time. Born in Cartagena. A designer with a great sense of belonging to the city and a Caribbean essence that surrounds and inspires her. Maygel Coronel is the port where the ideas that materialize in their march set sail, achieving an inclusion with each of their pieces which rests the desire of this designer to harmonize the various forms that frame the female bodies. The line represents the basic beginning of a project. An inspiration based on how they build their paths by drawing imaginary lines and then turning them into real ones. Since 2017, they have created a universe that is in constant exploration, in a search that honors women through pieces that melt into their skin along with ...

Happy Monday my fellow fashion lovers, I hope that all of you had a great weekend. Mondays give me the blues, but talking about fashion gives me so much joy and happiness. I've really loved talking about Hispanic fashion brands and designers during this Hispanic Heritage Month, and today, I've been wanting to tell you about one of the underrated fashion designers that I've been a fan of for a long time, Luar. Luar is the reversed namesake label of Williamsburg-based Raul Lopez, he's also the co-founder of Hood By Air. Raul is of Dominican descent, Lopez began to design at the age of 12 and was inspired by the downtown New York scene he saw growing up. Lopez wanted to share this energy with his friends who lived in the uptown Washington Heights neighborhoods, where they would frequent Dominican clubs and parties. The philosophy of Luar lies in the intersection of New York City and the Dominican Republic, promoting the constant curiosity of ‘tomorrow’. I loved the whole ...
