Fashion Designer That You Need To Know About: Victoria Hayes

Hello fashion lovers, and Happy Monday to all of you, I hope that all of you had a great weekend and are ready for another work week. 

While I was reading the June issue of Instyle Magazine, with Andra Day on the cover she was wearing a couple of designs from Victoria Hayes. So I went to her website and fell in love with her designs. Victoria Hayes grew up in Toronto Canada, she always loved art and design, but fashion took a backseat until her last year of Pre-Med with a realization that her passion for design outweighed her interest in pursuing a career in medicine. Hayes enrolled in Summer courses at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and later at Parsons The New School For Design, where she graduated with a BFA while winning the prestigious school's top honor, Women's Wear Designer of the Year in 2014.

Hayes enjoys a wide range of perpetually shifting inspirations; however, empowerment is always at the core of her design. She aims to make the person who wears her clothes feel strong and confident, thus positively impacting interactions with the world. Her design signatures astute attention to detailing with hand-painted prints, colorful silks, and ornate embellishments that are all centered around the dichotomy of present-day womanhood, beautiful and aggressive, romantic, yet protective, touch, but precious. Hayes is the 2019 recipient of the Fashion Group International's Rising Star Award for Womenwear.

The Victoria Dress is stunning in so many ways, it's cut from 4-ply silk crepe and lined with silk charmeuse. The body-skimming sheath dress features dramatic puff sleeves, a plunging V neckline, and decorative self-covered buttons centered in the front. The price for this dress is $542.50.

I Wear Many Jackets

Hello again Fashion Lovers and Happy Tuesday to you all. I hope that you all are doing well and always in style while doing so. A jacket is the one thing that every person needs to have in their closets. I feel a jacket is the finishing piece to a outfit just like a watch, a handbag, or the the right pair of shoes. Hello again to all of my Fashion Lovers and Happy Tuesday to you all. I hope that you doing well and wearing something that makes you feel your absolute best.  Pleated Skirts are one of my favorite pieces of the Spring and Summer. It's just represents what Spring and Summer Fashion should be, Light and Airy. Another thing that I love about this trend is that this piece of Fashion is that it's seasonless.
