Loving Fashion Is Always Able

Hello fashion lovelies, I hope that all of you are doing well and had a great week. Let us all get through the week and crush all the goals and dreams that we have on our To-Do Lists.

I've been a huge fan of Able Clothing for a very long time, but most important than that, I love the meaning behind the brand itself. Able Clothing found themslves in the fashion industry, somewhat accidentally, when we began selling scarves that were handwoven by a few women in Ethiopia who were coming out of the commercial sex industry. Their mission was to provide sustainable jobs for these women so they could create a better future for themselves and their families. Over 4,000 scarves were purchased in two months, and we saw tangible proof that where you spend your money has the power to make a meaningful impact.

They have grown in their mission to empower women with the expansion of both their product categories and location of impact. They are clothing women from head to toe in thoughtfully designed pieces that reflect who she really is: creative, strong, important, worthy, and Able. Their high-quality leather goods, handmade jewelry, apparel, denim, and shoes aren't just investment pieces for our wardrobe, they are an investment in women around the world. Their two-pronged approach to partnering with vendors includes coming alongside new businesses to help them create better opportunities from the ground up, as well as coming alongside existing, larger-scale businesses to support how they’re paving the way in the industry. They are proud to have partnerships in Ethiopia, Brazil, Mexico, China, India, Portugal, and in their own backyard of Nashville, Tennessee.

Women comprise more than 90% of their staff at ABLE, but globally they often hold the lowest-paid, least-secure jobs. They have seen firsthand how providing women with safe and dignified jobs has the power to change not only their families but entire communities. The more that they can support women with jobs, especially women who have overcome extraordinary circumstances and often lack opportunity, the greater impact they will have. That's why they intentionally partner with vendors who share the same mission and vision.

The Joyce Smocked Maxi Dress has to be in my Fall closet, the bestselling midi dress is now in a maxi style. they used the same details (smocked bodice, square neckline, long puff sleeves) and added a flowing, tiered skirt. It comes in sizes XXS-3XL and the price for the Joyce Maxi Dress is $158.00.

I saw the Nara Tote, and I need it in my life. The Nara Tote fits anything you could imagine. The snap closure keeps everything secure and the comfy shoulder strap makes it easy to carry all day. Perfect for travel, mom-ing, or toting your laptop to the office. This bag does it all. Made in Brazil, helping women transform their communities. The price for the Nara Tote is $275.00.

How fabulous are the Dorset boots? I need both colors. It is a gorgeous take on a classic ankle bootie with an almond toe and walkable 2-inch block heel. The Dorset boot comes in leather or waterproof suede. Featuring a cushioned footbed made with high-density memory foam, these ankle boots will keep you comfortable as you travel throughout your day. Plus, they’re designed with an inner zipper for easy on and off. Wear them with jeans, trousers, dresses, and skirts. These are priced at $158.00.
