Black Owned Businesses That You Need To Know: Taylor Jay And Grace Made

Hello again fashion lovers and Happy Tuesday to all of you, I hope that all of you are doing well and had a great weekend.

In this blog post for this Tuesday, I have two Black-Owned businesses that I really have taken a liking to and I wanted to tell you guys about them that I found out by going on the Black Owned Everything Instagram page a few months back. The first business that I want to talk to you guys about is Taylor J, When the founder, Taylor Jay, designed her first collection of basics, there was nothing basic about them. Taylor Jay designs with every woman in mind, knowing a woman’s journey is by nature a multifaceted one. They all have different routines, goals, and challenges, so they need reliable clothing that will perform extraordinarily under any circumstance. Clothing that will stand the test of time and will seamlessly integrate into their lifestyle.

The team at Taylor J designed with the idea of elevated comfort, a concept of fashion that offers a higher level of comfort and reliability. Fashion that can effortlessly transform and adapt to every woman’s needs, challenges, style, and desires. A single Taylor Jay piece can be combined into multiple outfits and the customers keep finding new ways to wear their clothing. They study and design unique features that are easy to convert for any use and style business formal, casual, fitness, elegant, sexy, or bohemian.

Their fabrics are made of luxurious, heavy-duty, smart materials that adjust to a woman’s body as if tailored to her figure. The combinations of features and fabrics that we offer are constantly reinvented and keep our customers excited and coming back for more.

Taylor J is also a sustainable fashion business as well, Their approach to fashion is intersectional. They can’t empower women and advocate for inclusion without promoting environmental consciousness. They chose to make slow fashion because women's empowerment can’t happen without integrity and social responsibility. They partner with an ethically sourced, fair labor practicing factory in Oakland, CA to produce environmentally safe garments from certified eco-friendly textiles.

They recycle and upcycle threads and use tints that are safe for humans and the environment. They are pursuing every attainable green certification so that they can contribute to a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for their customers and they can be proud to wear Taylor Jay.

The Summer Breeze Maxi Dress is going to be your best friend for the Summertime, it's a floor-length fitting maxi dress with pockets that is just what the summer ordered! This fabric is extra soft and has an awesome stretch. It comes in sizes S-L and it also comes in three different colors and the price is $118.00.

The second black-owned business that I want to tell you guys about is Grace Made, a faith-driven apparel brand that delivers a fashion-forward, non-legalistic interpretation of modesty. Established in 2016, the brand was created by founder Jasmine Rennie as a means for women to express their personal style while honoring their values. They believe that there is nothing more liberating than unapologetically glorifying God in every aspect of their lives and that includes our clothing, the message it sends, and its impact on our global community.

Its mission is to reinvent the way the world thinks about modesty, particularly when it comes to fashion and personal expression. The way they see it, modesty is not a form of restriction or constraint; it’s an invitation to explore our hearts’ intentions and discover where we find their worth. At Grace Made, They choose to accept that invitation: by sharing their vision of infusing effortless, demure style with bold, creative confidence, they hope to empower women to celebrate their self-worth and embrace the beauty within.

Each GraceMade piece is designed and manufactured in Los Angeles, using ethical standards with the utmost respect for people, their local community, and their environment. In addition to producing locally, they aim to impact lives through our commitment to give back with every Grace Made a purchase, they donate a portion of the proceeds to charity.

The Shalom Jumpsuit is the one piece that will check all of your fashion needs from day to night, This ultra-cozy one-piece features flattering cap sleeves and a wide culotte leg. Made from the softest linen blend fabric. It also has a back zip closure and a removable waist tie. The price is $145.00.

Fashion lovers from all over the world, I'm so happy to be here with you guys, and as always, I hope that all of you have enjoyed reading this blog post for this Tuesday, I love you all so much, and until next time, Stay Beautiful.
