AAPI Fashion Brand That You Need To Know About: PopFlex Active.

Cheers to AAPI Heritage Month and May. I firmly believe that you will feel good when you look good in your workout attire. I've been a fan of the activewear company Popflex, but I was unaware that it was owned by AAPIs. I felt compelled to share this information with you lovely people so you could support this size-inclusive company.

POPFLEX's CEO and chief designer is Cassey Ho. Cassey's non-negotiable, predetermined career path was medicine because she was the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants. After being severely dissuaded from pursuing her dream of becoming a fashion designer, she ended up attending Whittier College on a full-ride scholarship to study biology. But until she started teaching Pilates at a nearby studio, her time in college was meaningless and aimless. That's when she realized she had a problem: she couldn't find a cute bag to fit her towel, water bottle, CD, yoga mat, and keys. She made the decision to make her own.

When Cassey was about to graduate in 2009, she wanted to find a way to stay in touch with her students before she left. She made the decision to post a Pilates exercise under the username "Blogilates" on YouTube. She had no idea that choice would alter the rest of her life. Cassey's active clothing brand, POPFLEX, was introduced in 2016 and showcases her inventiveness as a designer. Her designs have gone viral, received patents (think of the Pirouette Skort), and even been spotted on celebrities like Taylor Swift because each product is created with such care! In 2025, Cassey debuted her second clothing line, Blogilates, which was created specifically for Target and offered reasonably priced romantic sportswear.

Women and young girls from all over the world are following Cassey's journey as a founder, and she currently has over 20 million followers and 6 billion views. POPFLEX is focused on developing cutting-edge products to solve problems while, of course, making sure you feel great and look amazing. She works with her husband Sam, COO, and is surrounded by a team full of industry knowledge and experience (mostly women, by the way).
