Black Designer That You Need To Know: Nia Thomas

I'm a huge fan of knitwear during the Spring/Summer. I was reading the March/April issue of Essence Magazine about the Luxury resort handmade knitwear designer Nia Thomas. I love the attention to detail in her work. Nia Thomas has always used the world as her vision board. A born and bred New Yorker, Nia Thomas graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2017 with her BFA in Fashion Design. A year after graduation, Nia Thomas started a clothing line producing limited edition garments and original jewelry inspired by inward discovery nourished by her worldly travels.

Today, Nia Thomas is a luxe lifestyle brand with handcrafted pieces for people who own their power, sensuality, and capacity for love. As sold online by the likes of Moda Operandi and IRL in coveted boutiques like Mohawk General Store and Dolores in Palm Heights Grand Cayman, Nia Thomas is an "if you know, you know" kind of brand. Despite being covered in Vogue, Essence, and The Cut, Nia Thomas rejects ‘being too cool’ and is anchored in staying true to herself and her values.

Hello again to all of my Fashion Lovers and Happy Tuesday to you all. I hope that you doing well and wearing something that makes you feel your absolute best.  Pleated Skirts are one of my favorite pieces of the Spring and Summer.
