On My Fashion Wishlist: Christopher Esber Blaze Heel.

Fashion lovers, it’s such a joy to be back with you all. I’m excited to share the latest fashion trends, designers, brands, and handbags I’m currently obsessed with. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year—let’s stay stylish together.

Christopher Esber is such an underrated fashion designer, and I’m not sure why. I was flipping through an issue of Harper’s Bazaar when I came across the Blaze Heel, and the moment I saw them, I knew they’d be perfect for Spring/Summer. Being the good fashion friend that I am, I had to share them so you might consider adding them to your collection.

After graduating from Sydney’s Fashion Design Studio in 2008 with a collection that caught the industry’s attention, Australian designer Christopher Esber launched his namesake brand in 2010. Known for blending sharp, structured shapes with soft, fluid draping, Esber challenges convention with designs shaped by his tailoring background, clever use of negative space, and unique sculptural hardware. His work creates fresh silhouettes that evoke both escapism and sensuality. Always pushing for innovation and refining traditional techniques, he works closely with skilled craftspeople in his in-house atelier, often collaborating with artisans from France, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain.

In 2012, Esber made his debut at New York Fashion Week and took home the L’Oreal National Designer Award. In 2014, he won the regional Woolmark Prize and was chosen by Sara Maino as Vogue Italia’s Most Talented Designer for Australia-Pacific. After years of growth, expanding his ready-to-wear line and moving into accessories, he was invited by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode to debut on-schedule at Paris Fashion Week in September 2023, where he was later named Designer of the Year at the Australian Fashion Laureate. In June 2024, he made history as the first Australian to be nominated for—and win—the prestigious Grand Prix Prize at the ANDAM Awards.

The Blaze Heel features a 70mm flared heel and is crafted in Italy from soft lamb leather. Designed with fine buckle detailing and intricate multi-straps finished by hand, these tonal sandals are available in two colors and priced at $750.00.

Fashion friends, I’m so grateful we’re together again. As always, I hope you enjoyed the first fashion blog post of 2026. Love you all so much, and until next time, Stay Beautiful.
