I feel like the Hermes Barenia Eau De Parfum doesn’t get nearly enough attention in beauty spaces. A few months ago, I was flipping through a magazine and came across a sample of it. The moment I smelled it, I knew I wanted to share my excitement and add it to my collection.

Perfumer Christine Nagel has crafted her first chypre fragrance for Hermès, a sensual scent with woody notes and unforgettable elegance. Barénia is a skin perfume that captures both strength and softness, embodying the many facets of an instinctive, captivating woman with a free spirit. Staying true to the classic chypre structure, Barénia eau de parfum blends butterfly lily with the delicate miracle berry, wrapped in oakwood and rich patchouli. Designed by Philippe Mouquet and inspired by the Collier de Chien bracelet, the bottle combines the boldness of domed pyramid studs with smooth elliptical curves. At its heart lies one final stud, molded into the base of the glass. Available in 1.01, 2.03, and 3.38 oz sizes, my ideal choice is the 1.01 oz bottle, priced at $113.00.
