Shoe Brand That You Need To Know: Nou
Fashion friends, happy Tuesday! I hope you had a fantastic weekend and are enjoying a great start to your week.
My mother should’ve never allowed me to watch Old Hollywood movies, because the fashion was absolutely stunning. I saw Addison Rae wearing a pair of vintage-looking shoes on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and fell in love with them. After an intense search to find the brand, Nou and I just had to share it, because I simply couldn’t keep it to myself.
For the past decade, Nou has been Alexia Ioannou’s creative companion. What started as a jewelry line grew into a cult-favorite vintage studio by 2021. Now, it lives on as her own footwear label, inspired by a lifelong love of shoes and the belief that beauty lies in the details, in the stories objects hold, and in the way an incredible pair of shoes can make you feel.
The same intuition that once drew her to vintage now guides my design approach. From her Los Angeles studio to the skilled hands of artisans in Portugal, each pair of Nou shoes becomes a conversation piece, crafted with exceptional materials in small, thoughtful batches. They reflect everything she loves and longs for—made to be shared between us, lived in beautifully, and eventually passed on for someone else to cherish.
The Boot in this gorgeous tiger print is a must-have for your wardrobe. Made from rare deadstock tiger-print silk velvet and lined with smooth leather, it comes with a matching clutch crafted from the same luxurious fabric. The material was sourced exclusively for Nou, making each pair truly unique and impossible to find elsewhere. A timeless collector’s piece designed to last for years, priced at $545.00.
