I was impressed by Monroe Steele's tailoring and the designs of her clothing when I watched her NYFW vlog, in which she attended one of Son Jung Wan's fashion shows.   South Korea is where Son Jung Wan was born and reared. She attended design school at International Mode in Seoul after majoring in Industrial Craft at Sookmyung Women's University. In 1989, she opened a store after taking the trend into her own hands.
